ah im really afraid im making a fool of myself ;; im the virus anon but i dont really know what it is?? the thing is in my OS (C:) and it was last modified 6/7/13 (even though i got my laptop around novemberish) ah.. it's name is AmazonApplE.dll and im really really scared?? gah sorry if its nothing.. ive gotten rid of viruses manually on this thing before (adware like RRsavings and such) but i dont know about this?? ahh

Check if you have any of the following installed, and uninstall them:  

FreeSoundRecorder Toolbar
vShare Plugin
Winamp Toolbar

Next, download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop and double-click to run it. If you run into problems at this step, turn off your antivirus protection and try again (and then turn on your antivirus after it’s done). 

Next, download AdwCleaner, one of my personal favorite virus removal tools. Open it and click “Clean” and keep clicking OK. At some point it will restart your computer. 

Finally, download the free version of MalwareBytes here and install and run it. Make it scan your computer and click “Remove” for whatever it finds. 

When you are done, you can uninstall/delete Junkware Removal Tool, AdwCleaner and MalwareBytes. The virus should be completely removed from your computer. I really hope this process works for you! 

I also hope you don’t mind if I make this public. It is nothing to be ashamed of. It isn’t your fault that you got a virus, after all, it’s happened to me several times in the past in fact.
